BBC NEWS | England | London | Police questioned over terror act powers:

"Police have been asked to clarify why they used anti-terrorism legislation to search protesters at Europe's biggest arms fair.
A civil rights group is planning to challenge the use of the legislation after some protesters were stopped and searched on Tuesday at the opening of the fair in London.
Home Secretary David Blunkett said he had demanded a report from the head of the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism branch on why anti-terror legislation was used, instead of public order legislation. "

Thank God someone's taken notice at last.
